In pairs or groups I want you to look at, answer, and write down your answers to the following questions:
1. Was reading Action Comics #1 an informative comic book with regards to the origin and original purpose of Superman? Why? What made it or did not make it so?
2. Does the world really need superheroes, even if they are fictional? Why?
3. Is the story “Judgment Day” from Weird Fantasy #18 the kind of story kids and adults should read today? Why?
For each of the answers to these questions you not only need to come up with a YES or NO answer, but you then need to provide supporting evidence to back up your answer. You need to keep in mind and answer as part of your answer to the original question:
What is the criteria or reasons that informed and supported the answer I/We selected to the question?
You will also wish to cite examples to support your assertion/judgment/evaluation as well.
