Turning in Essay 1 Rough Draft via Moodle

Navigating and helping you figure out where to post your work in Moodle, specifically Essay 1 is the name of the game here. So, let’s do a walk through:

Using this link HERE, you will go to Claflin’s Moodle, hosted by Learninghouse.com. When you get there, you will arrive at a LOG IN page:

USERNAME: Your Claflin.edu Email address including USERNAME and @claflin.edu

PASSWORD: Your Claflin.edu/MyClaflin/Email password

Once you have logged in, make sure you locate OUR CLASS:

ENGL-101-04-UG-MC-SU-2017 or ENGL-101-06-UG-MC-SU-2017 

After you are in the course/class page, scroll down, past the MindEdge Exercises and Test, till you find “Essay 1: Superhero Narrative”

Once you see “Essay 1: Superhero Narrative,” read the “Rough Draft: Essay 1 Submission Forum” description and then enter it by clicking on “Rough Draft: Essay 1 Submission Forum”

A new screen will display assignment description, submission status, and at the bottom you’ll see a button stating “add submission” – click on that button.

Clicking on the “Add submission” button will open a new screen where you can add or drag the file containing your Essay 1 for submission. Either drag or click on the arrow to open the next screen – a submission box.

This submission box will let you choose and upload your file for submission. You should add it and then click on the “Upload this file” button. This will kick you back to the previous screen and there you will want to click on the “Save changes” button.

You should get a notification of your successful upload. If in question, you can check by returning to the submission status screen.
