MTWRF – Thursday, Aug. 31 Class

For class today, I want you to view the following video:


After you have viewed the video I want you to practice the steps of the writing process: pre-writing, drafting, and revising.

I want you to do this while writing a response to this video. Answer me this question in 2-3 paragraphs:

In what ways are the information found in this video potentially useful to you in school and beyond?

Start with a sheet of paper. Halfway down, draw a line across it dividing the paper in two.

  1. On the top half, below your name, brainstorm some ideas either clustering or outlining or some other method.

  2. On the second half of the front of the paper write a draft (2-3 paragraphs and feel free to go on to the back of the page).

  3. Where your draft ends on the back, go down one line and draw a line across the paper dividing it like on the front.

  4. Revise your draft and then re-write it using the bottom part of the paper.

Turn that in.
